Delivery Policy when the recipient is not at home

If no one is at home to receive your gift, our courier will use their discretion to determine if it’s safe to leave the gift at the front door or close by. If there are restrictions in doing so, (an electric gate, or an animal in the yard) the order will be returned to our store, Our courier will leave a note in the letterbox stating the circumstances. The recipient will then be contacted to organise re-delivery or collection from our store.

Re-deliveries will incur an extra delivery charge (equal to the original delivery charge). We will do our best, but if a product needs to be re-produced for re-delivery, then the product will be charged in full, before the new delivery can occur.

Please note that when we deliver flowers and there is no safe place for them to be left, and the recipient is not responding to phone calls, there will be a re-delivery fee charged or the recipient can come to our store to collect their gift that you have ordered for them.

Substitutions

We guarantee that orders made through Our Buds and Blooms website will always reflect the quality and artistic design, but on occasion we may need to substitute in colour or variety due to seasonal availability and factors out of our control.

In the case of a substitution we guarantee to always substitute flowers of equal or higher value and will keep within the theme of the flowers originally chosen.
